Looking at the ascent verdict does anyone have opinions on them? Looking at a 3 pin with the revenge head (micro adjust pins/windage and elevation).

I have them on all my bows...the 3 pin version. Avoid the micro adjust....it's not needed and the pins can rattle I've heard.

I personally believe you will have a hard time beating a black gold ascent sight. There are plenty to rival it, but the bg ascent is well built and tough as they come. They are also a fairly simple sight and changes/upgrades can be made easily. Find one with the big dog head and you will have a fine sight.
Also, for the extensions, go with factory bar or either a 6" extension. The 4" doesn't really give you much other than 3rd axis, which to me, isn't necessary for hunting around here.
If you get one, find a used one on archery talk or either order custom from s&s archery. You can order in any pin/color configuration yoy would want. I have a 4 pin and love it. My bottom two pins are .010 fiber
