I've got an old, very good condition, Webley Mark VI 455 revolver that I was looking for ammo. I noticed the serial # on the cylinder has been shaved off so I believe it shoots cut down 45 ACP. Any suggestions?
I don't have any experience with these revolvers, only having seen one in person a long time ago, but if the cylinder has been shaved, as many were when they were imported long ago, then you can shoot .45acp rounds with the use of half moon clips, but they should be reduced power loads, not full power and definitely not +p loads. here is some info on it.
