Where to sell meat rabbits?

My friend is a member but he don't have a high enough
post count to use the GON classifieds..
He and his wife have some rabbits for sale.
I tried to tell them to take it easy and they would be over run pretty soon.
You know what they say about rabbits.

So, my question is:
Is there any laws against selling live rabbits
at flea markets, wal-marks parking lots and places like that?

I know you are "supposed" to have a USDA
license to sell butchered rabbits. Just not sure
about live.

Close to Monroe (Walton County) would be good.
They would probably go as far as a bordering county
for a good enough "spot"..

Thanks in advance.

Is this a one time sale, or are they breeding to sell? How many rabbits, and what kind? If they just want to unload a pair of rabbits they outgrew, there are plenty of places to unload them too.

NZ Whites, San Juan and mixes. They are pretty big and a few are are black and white. Some are butterscotch colored
brown with white markings,

No papers, just meat. Or Pets..

He got rid of a few at wal-marks today.

All sizes from teat to monsters.

Might put them in the classifieds under my post count,
I helped build the hutches and buy the breeders.

So, I recon half of them are mine.

I'll probably post some pics on classified tomorrow or Monday.

I'd rather find them a place to sell them, like wal-marks parking lot or a flea market. etc....

Any place you know would be GREATLY appreciated.

Not counting breeders and lil' one's , close to 50 total.

Ok, that's a few... We have looked at raising rabbits, but had as much luck with that as growing stuff in the garden. There are several rabbit forums for people to buy and sell their rabbits. The wife has looked around, and Georgia just doesn't seem to be really huge on meat rabbits. You find a few here and there, but not many. I'm thinking that if you are at wally world every weekend, you will raise the suspicion of some city person, and need a license. Person to person, listings on Craigslist, forums, and that little paper that you get at the convenience stores would be my suggestion. All under the radar.

And if'n you were closer, I'd take a couple ;)
