Best x-bow for a woman

Hey folks a little background before I ask...
My wife has hunted several years with a regular bow and has recently experienced carpal tunnel in her wrist and just can't draw her bow anymore.
She is reluctant to a crossbow but looks like that's the route we need to go.
I'm looking hard at the Excalibur x-bows. Is there any xbow you guys have or have used that would be a good, safe, and reliable xbow to start with. I'd like to keep my total package expense at or under $800.
Thanks for any and all recommendations.

I just dove in this creek myself. Still learning to swim.

Crossbows tend to run more money the lighter they go. Mine is a chore to tote into the woods. Big frame heavy An cumbersome. A guy I know has a raptor FX from Barnett. It is about perfect for hunting after shooting mine to his. A lady hunter I could see weight being an issue since some weigh 9+ pounds. Holding it yielding it maneuvering in the tree all could be issues. I'd let her hold a few to see what she's comfortable with. New crossbows have gone light shorter narrower to be much more friendly to take out hunting.

Look at the Barnett Raptor. Narrow, light weight and fast shooting.
At a good price.
They sell it in Muddy Girl Pink also.

Check out the lady ranger by wicked ridge. I just purchased a warrior G3 and I'm very pleased
