Best ATV spreader

LOL, my atv spreader is locked up. And I broke the gate trying to free it. It was no good anyway. [bumper buddy, I think] It collapsed under the weight of a load. I had it rigged with a heater coil switch for variable speed. I need a new one. It must have variable speed, no pull behind, strong hopper, upfront mounting capable. Any recommendations on a good ATV spreader?

This seeder is great. Good control, switching from smaller seed to large. No oats seed feeding problems. The motor speed dial was great for controlling the throw for narrow fields. Good distinct max distance for working edges without throwing into unwanted areas. Bumps, ditches, it did not move even when 100+ lbs were in it. Most stable spreader I've ever seen. Now to take care of it so it will last many seasons

Did you make the mount? Looks like you have the same sportsmans guide basket on the front that I do. I've been taking mine off during the off season to put the spreader on, but was out looking at it earlier to try and rig something up to put it on top.

I cut the supplied bracket and welded it to it my basket. The motor sits 1/4 above the bottom. It only takes a bungee to hold it down because it cant move any direction. I like the height as well

Before I use it again, I will add a cable/throttle type lever like found on a push mower to control the flow gate. It does not stay in position well and I prefer it be in reach without having to stand. Easy modification
