I have a batteries plus right around the corner. I may stop by tomorrow and check them out. I was going for the Academy $79.99 special. I have never used a Deka battery before. Thanks for the info!

I am not seeing any buying option on their website. I am also not seeing any product list. They are not selling online!

Can't buy from them directly. Have to go through a retailer like Batteries Plus or automotive service center.

Depends on the meter your using. I have a quality digital meter which I assume you have as well...If it were me, I'd take it to the lake and run it for 20 or so minutes (still at the dock). Measure the battery voltage both BEFORE and AFTER, then compare the values... If the battery remains the same voltage or more, I wouldn't worry about it....but that's just me.....

A digital voltmeter is not a good way to measure output voltage from a stator style charging system. I would have recommended a analog meter.
