Picked up a redirect adware here that redirected Safari every time I entered GON.

The fix was downloading Purify from the App Store. No more adware issues using the iPad.

Hope this helps with the adware on Apple products.

The GON forum is the ONLY site I've had any trouble with redirects to various ad sites, so bad it is unusable and I stopped visiting the forum. I did install the Purify app as you suggested and it seems to have resolved the issue, thanks for the tip.

I installed the Adblock app to my iPhone and haven't had a problem since.

I don't want to have to buy or install an app just to stop a virtual kidnapping as I visit here.

I know you don't want to install an app but the Adblock is free and I haven't had another popup or redirect since.

Adblock stopped them on my iPhone as well
