I was wondering!
7mm is a bore diameter=.284 inches
And a 7mm Mag could be a 7mm RemMag or a 7mm Weatherby Mag or a 7mm Rem Ultra man or a 7mm Rem short action Ultra Mag or a 7mm Winchester short Mag?
Which one?
You also have 7x57 Mauser and 7mm-08 and the 280 Remington(which was renamed to 7mm Express back in the late 70's but was re-renamed back to 280 Remington in the early 80's).
There is the forgotten offshoot of the 30/30,the 7-30waters.
The Danish 7X61 Sharpe & Hart from 1953(another belted magnum).
Or the tiny 7mm Rem Benchrest.
Or the 7x64 Brenneke(very popular over in Europe).
