North myrtle beach bass fishing?

Does anyone know if there is any good freshwater lakes around there. I am going next month and thought I might bring my boat if there is somewhere good to bass fish. Thanks in advance, Jeremy

there are some rivers and small canal fishing, there is one across the NC line also, not sure of the name but if you do the google earth you can see it
