SC Gobbler #2 Down ***Video***

Another henned up boss gobbler (Shhhh) takes a long lead induced nap. I knew where to place the blind after striking out a few times prior to this morning.

Shot at 8:17AM, 1.25 inch spur (1 spur was broken off) and 10.25 inch beard. I'm guessing he weighed about 18 pounds. Enjoy the videos...probably my best solo video to date. :cool:

Nice bird! Why the blind?
I usually don't hunt out of blinds. This Tom was henned up and would not respond to calls. He had 4 hens with him that day and more in previous days (the run and gun method was not working). So, I figured I might as well place a blind where they tend to go and wait him out - if needed. While sitting in comfort and staying dry if it rained. The follow up video explains all of that. :cheers:
