Just a reminder to check your strings under your limb protector. I am always good about waxing my strings but hardly ever take the bottom tip protectors off and check under them. Well tonight I was going over all my bows and found that on one of my bows with a fairly new string was frayed down to just a few strands. I thought it was something in the string grooves but ends up it was the tip protector and vibration from shooting, never had that happen. could have been ugly, having a string break at full draw is no fun.:hair:

I had a string break at the nock point on a practice shot from the tree stand. This is the only time this has happened in 45 years of shooting a trad bow. It's a bit startling.

I had one bust threw my HoBow. Thanks to the banquet I got plenty of string to make another!
