More cool pictures

Resica has a good idea...I wondered what I'd do with those old pictures. These are from the annual January campout in Wisconsin aback around 1983. This particular week we were at a place called Devil's Lake. It hit -18 one night...so cold you couldn't stand by the fire and get both sides warm at the same time.

They might have scanned better if the slides had been stored better, but I imagine the coolness will still come through.

Yeah...I should have maybe anticipated somebody might have thought the camera operator was somehow persuaded to enter the water. That is not the case. We were just out hiking and came upon these guys out on the lake. The milk bottle in the first pic was used to pour lake water into the suit to provide some 'warmth' when the diver was in the water.

I'll be pulling these up again later today after being outside for a while. Those are some neat shots Ron. The guys in the water well all you can say is "They just ain't right."
