Nitro is now making heavy shot buckshot for 12 and 20. You can get size and half smaller and hit with energy of size and half bigger. The advantage is more shot per shell. No.1 buck hits almost as hard as 00 but 8 or 9 more pellets in 3 1/2 12ga.
