I drew with one preference point. I didn't get my first choice unit which was Panguitch Lake but I did get drawn for Zion unit. This is a regular season permit. There are limited entry/premium tags you can put in for but they are literally a once in a lifetime tag. Areas like the Henry mtns and Paugunsant mtns are limited entry. There are nice muleys all over Utah but the monsters live in those ranges.
Congrats....... I have hunted the Central Manti unit 3 times and passed on multiple smaller bucks, but never seen anything worth shooting. Now as for Elk I have seen some GIANTS. We are sitting on 12 points for Elk. Maybe one day I can get back out there and stalk one up.
