Tybee island

My wife and I are headed to tybee for the weekend. We are planning to do some bank/pier fishing while we are there. Anybody know what fish are biting or where the best places to try on or around Tybee right now? Thanks for the help.

Don't know about Tybee, but the water temp a hundred miles south in Brunswick is still only 57 degrees. Nothing is biting inshore unless you can get to the mud flats in a boat when the sun and tides are right for some redfish.

Not a good time from pier or surf on Tybee right now, water is very cold. If you got to give it a go, small hooks, small pieces of fresh peeled fresh shrimp could land small Whiting and other smaller stuff.
Like Jimmy said, fiddlers around structure could get you sheepshead, but best if you fish vertical from a boat.
A inshore charter targeting Reds on the flats is best bet.

Thanks for the info guys. We were just wanting to wet a line for a few mins just to say we did. Looks like that is all we will be doing too. ;)
