Than new food plots.

This one is 30’ wide and about 900’ long but it leads straight into 1/4 acre and then another long plot.

Will see if I can add some other photos.

Best of luck to all!

1/4 ace or so....

This one joins the previous photos and might make .25 acres. It is also joined by two snake trails that are already planted in oats and clover.

Correction and more pics

I misspoke in the first post (edited now), that area is 900’ x 30’.

This first pic below is a small road that “T’s” off of the new
area and goes to a 1 acre white clover field.

Second pic is new area - 750’ x 30’ or so

I’m still workin’, boss!

Looking good Jim, you going to plant something for the summer or just getting a jump on the fall?

I am not sure!

David, it all depends on the $.

I may get some seed through the NWTF program and if so, will do some summer plantings.

If not, oats, wheat, clover and brassicas in the fall, for sure.

Gotta get these areas limed ASAP.

This section averages about 40’ wide, 800’ long (some of the area is missing in the photo) and leads to a 3 acre field that is crimson clover, wheat and oats.

Good luck, people!

That roof took some engineering and I have already stayed dry under it - and plan on staying out of the sun with it!

That soil is fair, pretty sandy. It was moist in those photos and I think that made it look a little better.

Part is it is already limed (almost 7.0 so I went a little heavy) and some will get limed this spring.

Good luck people!

Very nice!

What size tractor is that Kubota? I’m looking to buy and just curious to the type of horse power.

LTD -

32 hp 4wd. It is a great little tractor.

Should have purchased the 2wd 51 hp, IMHO.

5’ implements take a LONG time to work the ground.

I should sell it and upgrade but don’t have the $$$ plus everything I own fits that size tractor.

Decide what size you need and multiply it by 1.5x.

Good luck!
