Gehl makes a good machine. got to put a few hundred hours on a new one 10 years ago. Takeuchi manufacturers them is what I've always been told. They operate the same, and look the same. I would buy one without hesitation.
In my area we have a Cat and Bobcat dealership/service/parts. If you have a Gehl dealership nearby then no problem. If not then reconsider. Although most brands are considered dependable, they seldom go long without need of something. Especially with age/hours. I ran one once, LOL, all in the hand controls. I run a skidsteer instinctive meaning my mind no longer thinks about it. LOL, with the Gehl, I was dangerous. Or funny?
Like said Ghel is a Takeuchi. Very good machines. As new ones go Kubota seems to be leading the pack. They're about 10K less than the competition and very well built
