What do ya think, the best place to hunt during the rut, on a field, deep in the woods or in the woods over looking a big field? Just wanted to know were every one else likes to hunt during the rut...

with a gun, the biggest field you can find. With a bow, a funnel leading to a field. If this dont work, hunt where you always see does

I agree during the rut bucks are on the move. I like to hunt open areas with good visibility or possibly narrow wooded areas (travel corridors) connecting two larger wood lots.

hunt where the does are being seen. That is kinda like ladies night at a club how come the dont pay to get in.

hunt where your seeing the most does and an area you can cover some ground but still near the thick stuff.
