Skinner Express. I'm a better shot with the Skinners at 125yds than I ought to be. Here is my 1968 Marlin 336 with a Skinner Express mounted. Looks like they belong. Makes the gun handle naturally, fast on target and accurate. Light and nimble.
I have used Williams....they are nice...just a little delicate for my use...had to keep replacing the fiber.
I have XS on my 1895 and love them. I mounted the ghost ring to the front mount on mine.
These fellas talked me into Skinner's for my 1894. I ordered the Express to cover the entire receiver and the recommended front replacement. Also picked up the extra peep storage piece to replace the rear sight.
Give me a minute and I might be able to tell you how I like those.
