All of forestar properties were sold this year and a portion sold to catchmark, who in turn sold our hunt club to a private owner.
I've posted about this before but I believe Timber company leases will be a thing of the past in Georgia. I also believe it will be very difficult to find somewhere to huntbin the next 5-10 years. Public land will be saturated.

That's what we thought. The Timber companies are divesting.

Looks like all Weyerhaeuser property has been sold to Twin Creeks Timber , LLC and will be managed by Green Diamond Management Company. Interesting to see what will happen in 2018 although they are saying the leases will continue on.
