I got one yesterday with mine. Colt 6720 Clydes edition. I put a Warne mount and Simmons glsss. Absoulutely hammered her. 62gr tsx in the form Remington hog hammers blew through her and she crashed after 35yds.

I've been using a .50 beowulf with a 1-4 Accupoint for a few years now in the mountains. It has served me well. Built a 6.8 this summer for deer down in the valley. Interested to see how it does this year.

I hog hunt with a 10.5" .300BLK pistol with the Sig brace. My wife's deer rifle is a 16" 6.5 Grendel.

Smoked a nice 8 pointer today with my 6.8 SBR. 85 grain TSX does impressive work.

This is why I use a .223 and take neck shots. I am a meat hunter.

What bullet were you using? I've never had that happen to any of mine.

I'm guessing an SST or VMAX.

That Grendel looks to be a really sweet cartridge.

It was an SST at about 2560 MV.
