Nope.

He is simply demanding they expand hunting over bait statewide for deer.

That is the only action they can take.

Look at the bright side.. He won't be doing anything in North Carolina so you won't be effected..

It also says "based on the best wildlife management practices."

You cannot do both. One part of the EO is erroneous in it's directive. "expand the southern zone" was an obvious typographical error.:bounce:

NOPE what is says is " Based on SOUND Wildlife management principles" not the best or the most popular for the anti baiters::ke:::ke::bounce::bounce::bounce:

Let's see how this works out.

The governor is only going to be governor for about 8 more months.

The probable next governor is opposed to expanding baiting (or any baiting for that matter).

All of the PROFESSIONAL REAL biologists at DNR are opposed to any baiting, much less expanding it into the northern zone.

Can you see where this is going?

While the governor appoints members of the DNR board, they are only openings when a member's term expires, or the member resigns - meaning the the lame duck governor has no leverage over current members.

The governor can fire the commissioner, but he can't fire the professional biologists who will be conducting the study and making the recommendation to the board. He can't even fire Throwback.
