When I fish a river I just Google the river name and location and then type gauge
It brings up a site that will give you the discharge hight of the river and a lot of other stuff.
Usually there will be an indicator or what is "action" level and "flood" level
No river in arkie is flooding this year. You can google the river level by area like "White river level in st Charles". It will have flood stage on there and a graph of the past few day.
I use NOAA for Rivers in Georgia, but you can switch it to see any state. Hover your mouse over the dot (gauge) that is on your river and a graph will pop up with water level and flood stages. http://water.weather.gov/ahps/region.php?state=ar
