I havent been able to fly fish for a couple years but they closed the place I like for the summer. Looking at 3 places for tomorrow that I can wade easily or fish from the bank. Coopers creek, smith creek, or the noontootla. Any preferance? Im sure this is like asking where should i hunt ?. Hopefully no one is offended by this. Thanks

You can fish Smith Creek below the dam from the bank, preferably from the water. I've never fished it above the lake, so I can't speak to that.

That's an area I'm familiar with, get your Sportman's License so you can fish in the State/National parks.

You can also fish the Chattahoochee around the Helen area. Go up the forest service roads around Helen and start walking in where you see a small stream come in. I've always caught fish, tiny baby ones to be sure, but that's the fishing I like, it's like where I grew up in NC. Tiny streams with natives or near-natives.
