Changing bow lbs. Setting

Last year I had someone work on my bow. Besides changing my peep sight, that did not work, he de-tuned it from 60 lb. Draw to 50 lb.

I never had a problem at 60 lbs. But he insisted. I just got my peep sight fixed and was wondering if I should increase the pull. I can't see any speed loss

How many turns does it take to change 10 lbs.
I have a 20+ year old Hoyt compound

About 2-3 pounds per full rotation.
If you increase, you'll probably have to adjust your peep again and sight in your bow once more.
You'll need a scale to accurately get to 60 pounds.
Be sure to mark the limb bolts so you know how many turns you've made.
