Got mixed emotions as my buck tags are full . Hunting a stand that I haven't hunted all season , I got up in the ladder stand at 7:15. Weather report called for 20 mph winds at 10. Saw nothing until I heard a racket off to my right. Thru the bushes I saw horns , looked to be nice, then I see him moving a sappling back and forth. I used my grunt call and he responded. I fired once and then a second time as he ran and stumbled then I heard a noise in the creek , and silence. After finally quitting shaking, me at age 76 went to get my 85 yr old friend to help. We found the deer in the creek. No way we could drag it up the hill. Got his grandson and daughter with a four wheeler to drag it out. A 9 pt , no giant. Now only does and two months left. Well an 8 ten days ago and this one. Oh well. Can't get phone to upload picture as of yet Good hunting to you.
