It is finished. Two years of thinking about it, and when the final version finally came to me, it took less than a day to make it. Mountain bike with shocks, standard baby seat base over rear tire. The brainstorm was the milkcrate for storage, and the necessary offset for the gun boot. 1/8" steel plate for backplates. The crate is rock solid. A rifle or shotgun fits in the gun boot. Very solid and secure. Streamlined so that the gun will not get hung on a limb and make you crash. Ready for the closed wma gates now.

Where I would hunt with this bike is usually too hilly to attach a cart to it. I would just cut the meat out and pack it out, no sense in carrying a bunch of bones also.

Thats where I plan on using it, as well as some other wma's where they have closed gates.

That looks good.The only thing I would of done different is I would of opted for the metal milk carton if you could have found one.The plastic will become brittle over a period of time out in the sun.I'm like the other guy I would have had to put a wider seat. :huh:

Another thing that comes to mind. Are you allowed to bone out a deer in the woods on a WMA? I thought you had to take the whole deer to the check station. I wouldn't want you to get in trouble if you got found with fresh meat and hadn't checked in a deer.
