Ft. Stewart is a great resource but it takes some leg work to get your weapons registered with the base. Tuckahoe is a great wma in Screven county. You can camp there too. They used to list special hog hunts but in reality you can hunt hogs with a deer rifle on any wma with a fur bearer season this time of year. Outside of the few weekends that are open for deer you have the place to yourself.
