Put out $6,000 and go to Saskatchewan if big antlers are the most important thing to you. Southern deer just don't get that big.

co-sign, im not convinced the results are big enough to justify the costs doing it down here in the deep south.

How big is "big"?

State Typical record is 191 & 4/8:

The record weight is 355 field dressed, several big non-typicals in the past few years, & those are just the ones somebody bragged about.

If you go to Saskatchewan, you best have a high tolerance for cold. Cold enough up there in Nov to kill ya...:hair: Those 400 lb deer make it hard to judge racks too; the antlers look a lot smaller on that huge creature. I'd hate to have to drag that out of the brush, even if it was just to get warm... I'd have a big grin on my corpse when they found me though...:D
