I wonder if that would work with say,.... a Dr. Pepper... instead of beer? I just don't like beer.
Yes, it will. You don't taste the beer in the chicken anyways.
I use Sprite when I do Drunken Chicken with lemon pepper. I plug the neck hole with a lime or lemon wedge. I use Coke with most any other rub and plug with a potato wedge.
