I am looking for a new place to trout fish in dahlonega. Anyone have any luck in the reservoir?

I think Yahoola Creek Reservoir / Lake Zwerner is pretty much a warm water fishery only.
DNR website does say that Yahoola Creek gets 4 stockings a year, but none after the 4th of July, and no info on whether or not those stockings are above or below the reservoir. If there is any stocking above the reservoir, I guess it's conceivable that a few stray fish could come down into the lake during the cold weather months.

It gets a lot of pressure and it's not a trout lake, but it can be fun!
