Youngest son left yesterday morning for his annual trek to Colorado to chase elk. Grandson had baseball practice yesterday so oldest son and him couldn't make it down. I was left to finish planting plots solo. Glad to say I got it done today. Just me and the bride along with 2 of our grandkids for the weekend. After finishing round 1 of plot planting yesterday I made sure we ate good last night.
Fired up the Traeger and added chicken marinated in Wishbone Italian dressing.
Cut up a head of cabbage and added a stick of butter for some boiled cabbage.
Cooked up a medley of veggies in olive oil and garlic.
Made us a pone of cornbread...one of life's necessities from time to time.
Gotta get the bottom crispy.
Sat down with the crew and enjoyed a pretty decent meal.
