A cottontail for the grill

Got this cottontail this morning while walking around and found him in a briar patch along the woodline and field. I'm going to cook him on the grill.

That'll be some good eatin'. Haven't had a rabbit in a while. Bow hunting rabbits with trad gear is about as much fun as you can legally have.

Yeah, the Grizzly started the dressing process and I finish field dressing him right there. I just used my pruning shears I keep on my belt. Clipped the feet and head with them and then sliced down the rest of the belly. Put him a grocery bag and then put him in an Army Buttpack I had on me. Going to puy him on the grill this afternoon.

We always parboiled before fryin. Never had one on the grill before. Enjoy!

Good rabbit. Had a sweet potato and tea with it. Had to share with Tucker.
