Shed Hunting in the Spring

Hey Guys,

I'm looking to train my GSP to shed hunt in the off season. Figured it would be fun to do since I just run him in the woods to keep him in shape anyway.

Do any of yall shed hunt? If so, would you be willing to sell me any sheds to train my dog with?

I was woodcock hunting this winter when Willa dragged in a shed. Both Abby and Willa chew on them at home. A buddy had two Labs trained by a kennel in MN to retrieve sheds from his high fence operation. They were amazing dogs. Did fine on a dove field, too. I don't think I'd want my dog sniffing around the woods when snakes are out. Gil
