I have several friends in other towns that are members of "dove clubs". Basic theory is that they'll get together a group of guys (don't know how many) that love to shoot birds, and they'll have a shoot each week of the season.
As I understand it, some plant for doves. Some lease a field. But each member is responsible for a shoot during the season (don't know if they partner or what).
Any of you folks a member of a dove club or know of them? If so, how did you get them started, what does it cost, and how do they work.
Very interested in starting one next year in the Valdosta area. If any of you are interested in helping get it started, pm me and let's talk. Cause next season will be here in a hurry.
