Not really a fishing post but I thought someone may run around in this part of the water. I just purchased a new boat with a mud motor and looking to take it for a spin on the river. I am trying to avoid all of the shoals areas I can. It just doesn't do well with big rocks. Looking for a good area down around Franklin to Lagrange area. Any tips?

Gone But Not Forgotten
The water is pretty high right now. Study the channel and the channel markers and you can run all the way to Franklin. Most guys put in at Ringer park to run up river.

put in at ringer and go up river, some good fishing up that way as of late. yellow jacket aint the river. more main lake.
