Way to stick it out..........no bites

Depending on if you can keep up with the changes. It seemed like a good thing at the time didn't it?

Now that everyone else wants the same awesome deals as the unions got in the past, we are in trouble. There is not enough wealth to spread around........only now its obvious(as times to pay up grow), then it was not so apparent. And the unions at one time did improve working conditions. Nowadays, there are other steps in place. Unions have no demand.

I was forced to join a union back in the late 80's.........I thought it was stupid then. I alwas thought if I did a good job, all would be good and I could pass up other lesser workers...........you know, the lazy ones. Unfortunately, with the union set up, the only thing that mattered was tenure I realized soon enough that I wanted to be a company man.............it was the only way out of the union. I was much better taken care of then

But like Obama stealing GM, the government wants to run them all

You sure do have it made.. You live on a fixed income, don't have any extra money, can only treat yourself to Captain D's once a month, you have to rent a car to drive long distances, can't afford an airplane ticket.. I know I'm missing some stuff that you've told us about..

Yep, living the good life..

lol...

Yes, Steve, why are you still slaving for a party that is all for open borders and slave wages when real men like my godfather was a proud goon and called a spade a spade.

IMO, if you cant travel the world or US on a whim for extended periods of time without too much worry about the RV payment or where your next bottle of whine is coming from, you are not retired. Juss sayin'.

Ask 1eye what retirement is.
