Does any body haave any experience up there. Many and a buddy are goin on the Nov 9th hunt

2nd hunt at rum creek.

The whole thing is open for bowhunting from September into October. Then they have a week of open either sex hunting for kids, women and veterans. And plenty bring their four wheelers to ride around in. Point is it gets hunted hard before your hunt, so you have to consider that when figuring out how you want to hunt.
Your hunt will be crowded. Make sure you have a few backup spots so you still have somewhere to hunt when there's already somebody in the first spot you wanted.
The hunt tends to be like an uncoordinated man drive. Keep your gun ready for deer coming from unexpected directions, on full alert and moving.
And wear plenty of orange. Last year on that hunt someone was cutting loose in a clear cut an hour before daylight.

Thanks for the update. Me and a buddy went up there and did some scouting last weekend. Thought it was a pretty place and found a lit of tracks and sign. No rubs or scrapes though just tracks and droppings. Maybe we will see. Something. We noticed that it seemed big and small at the same time. Hopefully we will be able to get to some of the spots we found soon enough
