Seen these this morning in a fairly developed area of Hall County. Biggest chunks of land is a 100% no hunting.

Wow.....! you got those pics 20 feet away from them and they didn't run? gosh darn man.

I spoke to an old timer who has a little land just 3 miles north of Chateau Elan. He shot a good size sow. Showed me pics and all.

10+ years ago, saw dead hog on side of Buford Dam Rd.

Think those are escaped pigs? I drove by 5 last October in Towns County. There was NF on both sides of the road for miles. They were grazing the grass right along the road right before dark. I flipped a u-turn to go back and take a pic, and they were already gone when I came back around the curve, but they never ran as I approached them the first time. My guess is that they had become used to seeing the traffic.
The irony was that I had been hog hunting all day, and struck out for sign, so I left early, and there I was slowly idling past them on the way home.

I saw a sounder group of about 40 in Towns County last year, on the blood mountain. Seen another smaller sounder group this year on the mountain that crosses behind Helen into Hiawassee.
