I want to take a minute to thank all the folks that make the Outdoors Without Limits Striper trip the awesome event it is. Thanks to the Captains for all the time, expenses and expertise you share with a disabled person. It may just seem like a fishing trip to you but it is much more to many of these folks. Many only get to go fishing if someone is willing to take the time to take them and most do not have anyone else that is willing too. I heard from several different folks that this was the best day they have had in a year. It truly means the world to them that someone cares enough to take them fishing.

Also, thanks to all the folks that help on shore. Loading all those wheel chair folks into boats is a big job and we really appreciate all the help. Also, thanks to the folks that help with registration and the folks that cooked 100 hot dogs and 80 hamburgers to feed the folks and the folks that helped with serving. Without all of y'all, this event could not happen.

Folks say that there are not good people left in this world but I saw 100+ last Saturday. Y'all are all a blessing to me and the folks that had a great day fishing Saturday

You, and they, are absolutely welcome, Tim. And that bass in that last picture just wouldn't settle down, I bet it made finding a good shot of that catch difficult.

Tim, it was an honor buddy! It was my 1st trip and I'll be around for many more to come. Looking forward to the next outing and I already plan on taking Kieth out on another trip if the lake will fill up and they let more water into the Hooch. All he talked about was trout fishing before his accident so I want to make that happen.:cheers:

Thank You Tim for your time that you put into this outstanding event! It was my first time supporting and my Son was eager to help out as well. I had a lot of emotions throughout Saturday but I think pride topped the list....I was so very proud to see how many volunteers showed up to say "I care" by taking complete strangers out to just enjoy the day fishing. We were proud to be a part of it.

Well done everyone! Thanks OWL!

On another boat, Mark (UGA Football Coaching Staffer) caught an 18.5lb striper. Apparently, after being put into the cooler, the striper downed a Dr Pepper!

Hey, we had Little Debbie's and granola bars, it was a veritable smorgasbord! :bounce:

Terry and Earl didn't want to come in for lunch, so we didn't. We had a bunch of dedicated fisherman on that boat!

We never found any of those fish with stripes on em, all we could find were spotted and whiskered ones. My guest were happy, we were happy and new friends made as well as memories. Also my guest won a free knife with their catch:yeah:
