what works best

Had rain here on my farm in central ga. so went riding to look things over. Paying close attention to deer tracks in the road to observe small tracks with the does, had coyote tracks following or close by most all of the tracks. My question is what is the best way to eliminate some of these coyote's?

1 - Hire a nuisance trapper with experience with coyotes.

2 - Learn to trap and do it yourself. It's not that hard or expensive.

3 - And this is far below trapping, electronic predator call hunting.

4 - Just keeping a gun handy and shooting every one you see.

Trapping is hard and expensive. Daily checks, resetting traps after weather, etc. It's not a lazy man's game, and takes a lot of effort. It is challenging and can be a lot of fun. You will learn a lot about animal movement and become a better hunter/trapper over time.

I assumed Oochee Hunter owned his farm and lived there, so daily checks would not be a problem. I agree that trying to make a living trapping is hard and expensive but just to cull coyotes on a single farm would not be.

Even after shipping costs a little over $200 and Oochee Hunter's time to thin the coyote population on his farm. I also didn't go the cheapest route on anything.
