Ar--forged or billet?

You would never know the difference.

Forged receivers are slightly stronger but bullet is easier to machine. That's why you see most billet receivers are usually a little beefier than standard forged receivers. It really doesn't make a whole lot of difference in terms of accuracy and reliability though.

What wareagle700 said. Also if you are looking to shed some weight then billet would be the better option, but you will bearly know the difference unless it's on a scale.
