Morgan Falls Striper from a Kayak 5/18

Got a nice 8lb striper yesterday at Morgan Falls. It put up a good fight. Had two hard hits and then this one inhaled my swimbait. Was shaping up to be a promising afternoon... but the weather had other plans. Was fishing out of a Vibe Yellowfin 100 kayak.

Nice. I've been fishing there about once a week. Been catching a few, but haven't really hit it right yet. That's a great video.

I stopped by there today for a look,blood red muddy, 1 boat and a couple Russia's fishing off the dock. I haven't fished there in 20-25 years

Nice. I caught my biggest largemouth right there, too (5 lb), and my biggest (well, my only) striper (7-8 lb) right at the outlet of Lake Weiss dam.
