Came to lease today to fill feeders and try and shoot a pig this weekend and seen this beautiful little rattler, took a couple quick photos and let it Carry on its day ! It did make me watch my step the rest of the day !

We are lucky in NW GA that we don't really have to worry about an abundance of venomous snakes. Sure, we have our fair share of them roaming around, but we have a great population of king snakes that helps keep the triangle heads in check.

I have always thought my back property would be home to several rattlers or copperheads, but I have only seen one garter snake and 3 Eastern Kings........have yet to see anything venomous.

Both of those rattlers are gorgeous. I love the patterns they sport, seems this time of year is always a brighter look to them.
