Came in the mail today, will start them over the next few days.
Which variety is it that are one slice for a sammich size?Usually order beefsteak varieties but this year going with hybrids for disease resistance. Still some beefsteaks though, Burpees Supersteak, Romas for canning, Tribute, Big Beef, Mountain Merit, Champion, Last few years ordered German Queens, Brandywines etc and their great but usually die in August due to disease. Hope some of these will last longer, some are determinate though so crop will come in and that's it.

Won't be long now!
Chomping at the bit here.
Are those the ones that are like 6 inches acrossBrandywines are pretty good on a sandwich. And, mine have never gotten diseases. Clip those bottom suckers, and you should be good. To me, those Brandywines are tough plants. It takes a little while for them to turn red on the vine, but that has something to do with the heirloom variety and my soil.
