My son just bought a 1996 Ford Mustang GT with a 4.6 litre engine, and automatic transmission. Unfortunately, he's in Texas, and Im in Atlanta, problem with the car,is it does'nt seem to want to shift out of first gear. It will shift, but takes ALOT of rpm to finally shift to 2nd, then everything is fine, he say's it really winds out. I thought initially of maybe a modulator or something on the transmission, but without the car here, I don't know. He says it has fluid, but he plans on changing it, along with the filter, but not sure that will help....Anyone have any knowlege of these transmissions and symptoms? Thanks in advance, Phoelix
