Might not seem like much. But growin up i mostly on ever got ringers teals mottleds and occasional bluebills and woodys.

Stewart was woodys and mergs.

Now ive gotten bw gw teal, scaup, gads and this black. Different drive will open up more firsts. But they are further away.

mex you are right! After pullin it out the fridge and recheckin the key diff. Here is this bird wing has a green/blue hue plus the lil bit of white at the tips.

Black woulda been more purple hue and zero white. Ive shot mottleds in the past guess i got my hopes up. Either way stil my first La mottled lol. Good eye! Crackin a beer and waitin for next weekend. Cheers!

Are you shooting out of the yak? How's that working for you? Just curious, not being a smart butt...

Have shot out the yak in the past and some here. Prefer out for more range options. If the wind and cover is right right ill shoot in it. Mainly only can shoot from 9 oclock to nearly 2 oclock and stright up in in this model. Depends on location/wind.
