Nothin but Fish

I was out all day yesterday testing the waters with three friends. Had Dan Forester and John Biagi from DNR along with John Moon our CIO from home office as my guests. While we didn't catch any of the big ones yesterday (largest were in the 11 lb range) we caught a boat load of small ones. We trolled Captain Macks 3/4 oz on leadcore with 8-9 colors out. White trailers seemed to be the ticket and speeding up to 4 mph netted several fish. We boated 3 or 4 really nice spotted bass and north of 30 stripers. All of these guys boated several on the Benn Parker Spoons and are now hooked.
We did break out the Cannon's yesterday and managed to stretch some string on the "down low". Great time with great friends and great opportunity for the WRD gang to see the gear and fishing up close and personal. What they and their team does to keep our states fishery in great shape is much appreciated!!!
