Hey woodturners!

Has anyone ever turned a “magic wand?” I have an opportunity to display some at arts and crafts festivals that I will be attending this year. I have a food trailer called The Magic Creperie, and these would fit nicely.

If you have turned any, what did they sell for? Also, which wood variety did you use. Please post pics if available. Thanks.

Never done a wand but I do have several "majic hammers". Good luck with your endeavors. You might cruise the thrift stores for broken pool ques. Some have some fantastic dense woods in them (and usually on the unbroken end).
What shows you going to be doing? I like them skinny pancakes!

I've done a couple. Basic woods probably are going to sell for about 35-40. More exotic stuff I've heard can sell for considerably more

Thanks for the replies. As far as where I’ll be with the crepes, I only do arts and craft fairs. My next one will be in Crdartown on April 28th. After that, I’ll be in the northwest corner. I have events in Chickamauga, Ringgold, and Lafayette back-to-back. Wish me luck.
