Dad (67) still loves to hunt but his knees and shoulders limit him on what he can do. He took me to the woods from the time I could walk and he gave me my first gun (.243) at 9 and I started sitting by myself at 11. I lived for the weekends during hunting season because I new it meant he and I would be going to the woods for the weekend, every weekend. Now it's time for me to do for him as he did for me. He shoots'm, calls me and I load haul and gut. We'll process this one this coming Saturday. Only deer he has seen at the plot behind my house this year. 5:30p Saturday afternoon. When he called I thought he had killed a 300lb 20 pt. I was just getting out of the stand on the other side of the lake.
